Like the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) which
has its base of operations outside of the US and one which is listed as a business or a private
enterprise, there now seems to be questions
regarding the Australian Taxation Office and its legal basis for operations in
Australia. I have wondered for years if the ATO was legitimate, for we never had
the luxury that our American counterparts had, who are able to challenge the
validity of the IRS
through the courts.
For background on the unconstitutional basis for
the IRS, Play It Forward Australia recommends Aaron Russo's video:
America: From Freedom
to Fascism.
Like America, could it be that we have been
duped all this time? Why can't anyone even within the ATO attest to documents
which give evidence to its creation and therefore the legality of its existence?
Keep in mind that there are agreements in place
with large multi-nationals in Australia which make these companies tax exempt. The Lima
Declaration sought to consolidate this no tax standing and further scab the buck
from the Australian people. Surely people remember the Buy Australian/Australian
Made campaign in the 80's that sought to reverse this political-economic
nightmare by trying to ensure that our bucks stay here.
If these large private corporations paid just 10% tax, not like the 30% as we as Australians
do, this money would significantly enhance our national budget. Yes it costs
money to run a country, but you have to wonder why the system is set
up not to tax those larger businesses while individuals, small and medium
businesses have to take the brunt instead.
Think about it, we pay an enormous amount of
tax on petrol, cigarettes and other products, which in other countries are not
taxed to the same extent as Australia. Someone, somewhere made this so as money was not
coming in from somewhere else as it should be. Money is being diverted away from
the workers and straight into the pockets of a few. This is called "wealth
distribution" and its wheels are kept turning and pockets fuller via the
illusion of democracy to which most of us readily accept. As many have rightly stated,
there needs to be an overhaul of the taxation system here in Australia.
The bottom line is if large corporations were
paying taxes in accordance to the rules of taxation that the rest of us usually
abide to, then there would be significant flows of wealth back into the lower areas of
the economy. Governments would have no need to double dip into vital capital
pools of our Nation which are already waned e.g. health, education etc. Yet this
is exactly what happens, all the while they ignore the large corporations. Why?
Because our government is in service to them and not the People! The cycle goes
on and on because of our apathy and unwillingness to take a stand.
"Give me a nation's money
supply and I care not who writes the laws."

The Australian Constitution, S.55 - Tax Bill makes reference to
the fact that taxation upon the people shall be of one form only. How does this
compare to Goods AND Services Tax?
Most Australians did not want the GST. John Howard
even said at one time that Australia would not get GST. Yet we got it. He knew
it was coming. If
you have any concerns about GST and personal income tax, you need to read the
following documents. Astounding ramifications!
- The ATO is not a
legal entity by its own admission. See
here
- Australia -
Lifting the Veil of Deception. See

- The ATO is an illegal
entity. See
here
- The ATO is not a legal entity. See

- Is the illegal
ATO above the purported law - obviously
our ATO Tax Commissioner thinks it is. See

After reading these documents and if they prick
your conscience, Play It Forward Australia suggests you voice your concerns to
your Federal MP's and to the Commissioner of Taxation. Alternatively you can write to the ATO
in your Capital City. For an example letter of enquiry that you could
use, see here. Be sure to share with us your responses you get back!
They expect us to live within the law, yet
where is the accountability that they do themselves? Yes we need taxation in
order to derive money for essential services upon which we all rely. But every
business, large or small should contribute in accordance to their portion.
Anything else is disproportionate, unethical and totally unAustralian. |
