The onset of the Industrial Revolution brought with it, man's first foray into experimenting with different modes of transport. In the early C20th, the explosion of suburbia in many western nations was directly related to the evolution of the motor car, to which we have all become mostly dependent. The car of dominant choice, or as some would say capitalist choice, has become the gasoline/petrol car running internal combustion engines (ICE). But it wasn't always so. It was not uncommon at the turn of the C20th to find both electric (EV) and gasoline vehicles  on the street.

The machine that is now known as the Military Industrial Complex (MIC) and their policies dictated thereof, back then was still in its infancy in the early 1900's. Oil became a commodity that could be brought and sold. Eventually important commodities, such as oil and gasoline/petrol get capitalised and made into monopolies by competing companies. Oil being the basis for society is also the main reason why we go to war and capture other sovereign nations natural resources. To maintain our lifestyle we become impervious to the sacrifice of our misplaced troops who act offensively in far away places. Even sadder is the deaths of innocent people who also die fighting foreign Western invaders who clamour to maintain their thirst for oil. At the same time, the hearts of everyone involve blacken over with fear, hatred and disassociation. These combine to make us apathetic to the truth.

Connect the dots. Our governments are ruled by corporations. The slave doeth the bidding of thy Master. And it is expected that the citizens continue their rampant consumerism and do the bidding of the Masters also.  We are partly to blame for the way things are. We disempower ourselves through our ignorance and reliance on the western ideals that we are born into. Some free thinkers question this and what emerges is a wanting to break free. The spirit yearns in many ways. Even car manufacturers gave into the natural tide of wanting to express that free spirit, in the form of GM/Saturn EV1, Honda EV, Toyota EV. One of the best examples of this yearning is in our ability to create and to use resources that is available cheaply and plentifully. One of the best ways to empower yourself is to reduce your reliance on oil. Over the years many inventors of spirit have successfully invented alternative modes of transport using electricity or water. These inventions directly threaten to reduce the money making capability of the MIC for if such inventions were to go mainstream, resources such as water would be harder to monopolise. Many of you no doubt have heard of stories of inventors who were brought out by the MIC boys or if they refused their projects and years of research were confiscated or even worst their lives taken. For some spirits, this is an undeniable fact of life. There are dark forces which work against the good of mankind. But even so we push on in hope. In this hope, let us explore some of the ways which you can empower yourselves with knowledge of alternative fuels and modes of transport.
